DEA intends make Kratom a controlled substance

The DEA announced on August 30th their intent to make alkaloids of the Kratom plant schedule 1 substances beginning September 30th. I don't think I need to go into how ridiculous this is and it's likely the FDA behind it all, creating a monopoly for the pharmaceutical industry. Regardless, I hope everyone here is doing their part to fight this. Please use the links to sign a petition to the white house and send a letter to the senate.
