Too long ago to remember what # this was, but it was in the third year I was dead-i-cated. Give a it a whirl, I think you'll like it!

My first shows were so early that recordings and set lists are not in circulation. Did get the second set of my first show in Oct 69.
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling

'85 was a great year. I grew up grooving to some classic shows from '85 - Richmond, Virginia and the Starlight Theater in KC.

Here's something that you folks should absolutely check out. I was up in Portland a few weeks ago, to check out a Denver band called the Motet. For lack of a better description, their entire show was Grateful Dead put to funk, though that doesn't do them justice. they were AWESOME.

Here's a free download (soundboard from another live show), or check 'em out at Archive.org

(then go to FREE DOWNLOADS - Funk is Dead!)

Anyone seeing Further this summer or fall? Can't wait!
