I moved the ayahuasca.com sites, and Andy was very helpful.

More than likely to my server since it seems kinda odd to dump sites of this type to somewhere/someone you don't know. Anyway, we will probably be moved over the weekend. There should be no loss in service minus a few dns laggers during propagation. I am sure Kemp will update us when it's all ready to go.

PHPBB seems to move pretty easily. One thing you'll want to be careful with (and I say this only 'cause it bit me), is that you'll want to either preserve the site directory structure (i.e., putting everything under "the_site" or "phpbb" and putting a redirect in place), or doing a rewrite in the .htaccess file to rewrite urls of the old convention.  

On the ayahuasca.com site everything was under the directory phpbb, and to change that the .htaccess file looked something like:

That way if people had bookmarked the old site (http:/.../phpbb/) or if they followed internal links in the posts it still worked.

Not sure if its my end or not.

Previously images and attachments, avatars i could see, now however i cant see any attachment images etc.
If i check my profile my avatar image isnt there, Also the smileys have some broken images to. Maybee a screwy path somewhere in the config/db

great job, PK and Kemp! we had to do this in Jan 2005, and here it is five years later, and do it again...this time far less drama and loss
