Calling Gliese 581c

Messages from Earth, including a photo of George W Bush chosen to illustrate evil, have been sent to Gliese 581c, which could be home to intelligent life.
The image of Mr Bush was chosen by Gillian Anderson, the X-Files star who was one of several celebrities involved in the project. She selected a picture of Barack Obama to illustrate goodness.

I'm sorry, but the concept of good and evil being presented by two earthlings who happen to be U$ politicians is a joke, imo. The whole range of emotions, as well as good and evil can be found in any human.

To me, what they did would be no different than sending pics of a ford and chevy to aliens and attempting to explain how one is "good" and the other "bad."

I totally agree, I posted this ridiculous article just to get a feel for the other out there. Not to mention it came from such a site a Bebo....
IMO one cannot emulate anything with a picture of anything. One must show through deeds, if one wants to accomplish anything.

I would call the Obama one the "lesser of the evils" not absolute good. There is a difference. But this attitude is what we see in the media all the time. I will admit shrub has done a lot of evil things.
