Do anyone have a link to a good shaman drum sound?

I used to have one on cassette, but its long lost. I'd buy a drum if'n I was you. Nothing moves air and the spirit like wood and a natural skin.....

Thats sound true to me. A friend have an african drum from Kongo. He never use it. I tried it once. Lovely sound.

But I thought it could be easier to start with a recorded tape. Less to think about.

It surprice me that it is so hard to find a decent recording, or any recording, free of charge on the World Wide Web. Christians have that going for them that they seem to give more of their stuff for free.

I'm really surprised LW didn't tell you to go download some sick Grateful Dead live Drumz/space show.
...and as if from the inception of time itself I realized I was and had been for sometime, elsewhere, elsewhen or somehow, quite seriously, otherwise...

Doh! I wasn't even thinking along those lines, tstt. The request reminded me of a tape I used to have made specifically for shamanistic journeys. But then again, wtf is a dead drum jam if not a vehicle for cosmic exploration, eh?

In that vein, I'd say its prolly time to get a copy of Infra Red Roses by Da Dead. Its a compilation of soundscapes curried from various shows and lot scenes during the late 80's by Bob Brelove. (sp?) But as this disc also contains segments of space as well as drums, there are guitar/bass and keyboard passages, too.

If you can't find the disc in your neck of the world, shoot me an addy and I'll work on burning you a copy, green herman-bro.

I cant remember anything, if at all, of Grateful Dead that I have ever heard. Probably something played before my age, if played at all here in back-yard Sweden. I am 32.

Read about them although in the context of psychedelics. I must say that the context of out door "mind-expanding" music incombination with a lot of persons interresting in psychedelics and CB seems appealing.

Here in Uppsala we just had the Reaggy [spelling, sorry] festival. A little over a 100 was picked up for smoking CB. Probably a good thing though. Its a small country and Uppsala is a small town. Picking up a 100 persons for CB smoking adds heat to an on going overload of the courts, which should in combination with the more free www information about CB and more general CB smoking in time maybe lead to a decriminalisation of CB. But on the other hand Sweden are one of (or the one) the most notorious drug intolerant countries in the world.

Tanks. Well I do beliave its true though. If we just all stopped caring about the law it would be over after a couple of weeks at least here where the police isnt the best on how to manage resources.
   1) Alienation and stigmation stops.
   2) Policy and courts will be forced to caring about CB-smoking or resources for more important crimes will be drained.
   3) People will see that it isnt just "odd" people that smokes CB but just about anyone.

The fun thing about the festival is that it was very calm in the city. It is a small city and hockey and similar their they drink a lot of beers tend to lead to a lot of violence and destruction. Not so on this day. Peace and quite. No destruction of city property. The police however thinks this is day the worse day of the year, due to some cannabis smoking. If the 15 000 (I think) visitors drank alcohol instead it would be terrible.

Calliope hummingbird.

Speaking of hummingbirds, this little guy was seen around TroutMasks.  First time I've seen one of these.
