it was fun event, a full room filled with tables, all sorts of books and periodicals, some sedate poetry mags, some freakish bound rants...up on the stage there was live performances, music, readings...like any homegrown event, some of what we saw was polished and inspiring, some felt first time and unsure...shared a table with a radical anarchist feminist chick who talked a mile a minute in a funny, freaky way, and a guy who works with homeless and abused youths, getting them to write, find and express their feelings, and publish...good vibe, many wanted to make a dollar, but we ignored that angle and gave out cenacle 54 with gladness...i think there will be more events to come...stay tuned
