How small is too small? Well its not how big it is....

Without further ado, many have asked how big does my cacti pup need to be before I can propagate it. The answer my friend is that it can't hurt for it to be this size. Note, I allowed this one to root without any exposure to soil. Had I done that, it would have sped up the rooting process.


The areole graft is 45+ days old today on 30 May 2018. Areole grafts dry out very quickly if they have not taken. Remember that if you are ever in any doubt after making your areole graft. Just a few days time and an areole this size will be withered to nothing if there is no connection.
