Phil Ochs was a folk-rocker in the 60s, mostly. Started out straight protest, but then got more cosmic, and interesting. His last several albums were awesome. Died sad and alone in the 70s. Wondering if any fans of his work here?

I was raised on guys like Phil Ochs, "protest songs" are my roots.
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling
