He apparently dies earlier today of a heart attack at the age of 72.
Lost my boots in transit, babe,
smokin\' pile of leather.
Nailed a retread to my feet
and prayed for better weather...

Richie was a unique talent, and a very soulful human being totally of his place and time. A guy like him wouldn't have a chance in the music business of today, but neither would Bob Dylan either most likely.
