Bob Dylan Tour

Bob and his band are coming to town tonight. I'm really looking forward to this show.


Sounds like Mark Knopfler will be joining him later in the tour. I'd almost travel for that one.

Just woke up from the Dylan show. Friends on the floor said the sound wasn't bad, but the mix wasn't very good in our neck of the less-than-half-filled arena. All of Bob's mics were pretty up front, but the rest of the band was mostly muffled and muddied. (Two gats, pedal steel, drummer and bassie.)

How's he doing?

Bob looked good and moved really well. Little dance step here and there. Moved between mic center stage and keyboard often, threw in harmonica fills while playing keyboard. Mumbled/rasped his way through most of the numbers. Very little crooning but did let loose a few times.

The issue wasn't Bob, imo. It was the fact that they should either have turned up the volume for the rest of the band or just let Dylan do the show solo. And I believe he would have been up for that.
