haha yeah I read that story about the catapult on huffington post a few days ago, beyond funny.

I wonder how many packages they successfully catapulted before they got caught.

Well, I must admit to considering flying in some bootleg once....  To beat the radar;  I figured to use a powered paraplane and fly 100ft off the ground...   These devices fly too  slow for an airplane to deal with because of the airplanes stall speed....  I can say I entertained a few fanciful hours dreaming of this ploy..... :smoke1

Seems like a catapult is the best way to go. Just drive up to the prearranged spot, sproing sproing,  and you have your goodies over to the other side, they grab them up and everyone takes off. It could be carried out in a few minutes. They must have been tipped off or got lucky to catch them. That stuff probably gets by 99.9% of the time. In my younger days i might have tried it myself.

Just speaking theoretically of course, not that anyone would break any laws.
