They're lines from an issue of Season 8 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the TV show stopped at Season 7, and there's a Season 8 in comic form being published now by Dark Horse Comics).

That little conversation actually has more emotion behind it than you might think if you know the history of the show and the trials Buffy has had as "the Chosen One" (and are a complete geek, of course).

I met the Chosen Personage on an interstate ramp outside of Macon Ga. one time...  He was purdy cool;  gave me a silver cross on a chain and bought my bro a pack of Marlboros..  We turned around and 'poof', gone......
