Okay you mutha's...someone besides Ott has had to hypothetically extract bufotanine. And test it on some pink eyed albino rats in the Third World.

What is it about? I want to know!! Any first or second hand accounts? There is so little info on this one. And it's soooo available. No seed smokers! I want to hear about extracted compounds!

Somebody has done an A/B extraction here...Puppets, time to sing!

What about Yopo-huasca?

Yes, I've read of all the accounts with the prisoners. Poor Bastards!

Love!!

Ave, LizJah!

Not me.  I always heard tell that bufotenine was a Bad Idea, but I'm just repeating hearsay.  Or heresy, in that it could be said there are no bad chemicals, only bad uses. And bad users. Either way, sounds like not my cuppatee. Not to say I wouldn't like to hear more.

But I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest IV is not the way to go.   :P
What I need is a strong drink and a peer group....

All I can say is:

1) If you ever get a hankering to use then in an ethnographically appropriate context and decide to toast 'em, mix 'em with pickling lime, and shove them up your nose: don't. It feels like snorting, well, pickling lime. Or "so I'm told."

2) A friend of mine loves the seeds when activated by the vine. Never had it myself, so I can't say why he love it

3) Ott's chemical analysis of the various cultivars is controversial at best, so don't be so sure you have B. and not 5-MEO. I know some people who have assayed these seeds, and found very little subjective difference, even with cultivars which Ott claims to be entirely B.

4) Smoke 'em if you got 'em. Let us know how it goes.
