danger is the skinny side of forebodence
when composure become an old notion
and it seems so senseless to heed
thousands years old instinct

like a shallow lump in the tea leaves
swirrling at the bottom of your cup
just waiting to expose itself in cool terms
only to prove hollow and unresolved

and whats left behind is your mind
left to ponder a muddied cup
saved for your ghost
and god speed to it
