I've never read about any potential problems mixing the two substances, but don't know for sure.

Why mix when either would do the trick alone?

Well what I heard was some heads like to eat shrooms when they start coming of the cactus. It brings the visions back, the later part of a cactus trip is often more speedy than psychedelic, so I have been told be some outlaws I met

With no personal experience, I'd have to take your word for it.

From my reading, a mixture of dmt/salvia/ganja smoked during the peak of an lsd experience would prolly be a nomination for the award in question. That is, if the event takes place during the drums/space segment of a dead show..... (it has been reported to make the dmt/salvia portion of the voyage stretch out to 30 minutes or longer.....)

Psychologically it should be fine, although not for every psyche, but just ot be safe, I'd like to point out that most indolic compounds are a little (or a lot) hepatoxic, and, while psilocin safe on its own, it might not be with the various aklaloids in trichs.  

Psilocin and DPT are counterindicated, for example, although I'm going to be a bit sketchy on how I know this.  I would expect DMT to be less dangerous than DPT, though.

I've heard a confirmed report of DMT overdose on its own!  1/2  gram on moclobamide caused a serious vascular push, simlar to a bufotenine overdose.

While I do not personally believe that this combo, trich and psilocin, is dangerous (alcohol and psilocin are not dangerous, for example, it seems), one should exert caution and start with SMALL doses, and treat the combo as if it was one of Shulgin's new creations.
