The general time frame the company gave the money guys from the Pentagon was 1 year for an order of say, 60 jets....  Of course that was all a big scam, as we always had major cost over-runs as well as delays in final assembly....  Back when I was there and the company had a total of 36 thousand employees on 3 shifts, I'm guessing if they wanted to they could have produced twice as many jets as they actually did....  Gawd am I glad to be outta the rat race of working for the War Machine!!!!
