Albert Hoffman, the inventor of LSD, discoverer of psilocybin and LSA, and an absolutely brilliant mind and spirit, died April 29th at the age of 102.

I encourage you all to read his most famous book, LSD: My Problem Child the autobiographical account of his discovery of LSD and it's subsequent spread into popular culture and beyond...the account of one who was there in the legacy of LSD from the very beginning...i know his death will move many of us..

ps: Didn't notice there was a post already up about this:

Yes, we will surely miss Albert.  I am sorry I cannot post any images  at the moment since Mushbox and I are organizing a two page memorial in his honor for shroomtalk issue 5 coming out at the end of the month or first week of June.

It has a 45 page article abut me with some person words from Albert in a tale of my first shroom trips which are partially explained in a an exchange of persona letters between me and Sasha Shulgin and Jochen Gartz and a story of my life interest in shrooms in letters and text  from 1990.  Contains some never before released information about Hofmann,

I do have an art image I made somewhere called Albert Hofmann's Brain on Drugs"  Made originally from the innards of a gutted deer and a photo of Hofmann. but i will post that tomorrow if I have time along with five other images I used to make the final photo image,

At least he and Anita will be together in Heaven and he will be missed.  I was invited as a guest just to come but had no extra air fair since I was in Amsterdam on a photo shoot of the pro-care shroom farm.
