Hmmm:  A person goes away for a couple of days and finds "this" sort of thread... :roll: --  I have to say, I'm with L.W. and Jiku here...  If you, for whatever reason feel that the Salvia experience has not been beneficial; then so be it...  Let your life go on.  Immerse yourself in whatever other things you may find.  No one suggests that you have to like, nor benefit from Salvia, or, any other substance for that matter...  To expect Salvia to "take you back", to somehow reintegrate something that you feel is not to your liking, is (imho) preposterous.!!!  C'mon now, any drug out there can't be expected to do such a thing....  It's a matter of personal perception and choice, or, as the case may be;  a matter of personal rejection...  Your pysiological makeup, your expectations, your limitations, all have as much to do with any percieved benefit or lack therof, as does any plant or chemical...  As far as the lady from 'AYA' acting as a portal for your 'elevation of consciousness', yeah well, as 'tha saying goes  "'Ya puts up 'yo money and 'ya takes 'ya own chances"  This mistress might well be just what you need.. On the other hand, she may be a completely self absorbed or deluded  manipulator.....  It's been said a zillion times....  Drugs don't supply the answers...  Drugs can be used to open doorways to an integrative thought proccess....  The healing, or the destruction that drugs can bring is dependent on the user..................  sal

i've decided to partake of the sacrament one last time, after heavy duty purifying and meditating and taking a long vacation from it, i've decided.
And then i'll see what will happen
I believe it can stir up the garbage in my heart and loosen it long enough for me to fly past it; that's what it was doing the last time i used Salvia but i got so terrified i resisted it completely instead of going with it. I know better now.

At least your goals are starting to sound a little more realistic. However.....

I do not believe there is any quick or easy way to "fly past the garbage in your heart." While salvia might point you in the right direction for identification purposes, RIDDING yourself of that garbage is no easy task, imo. That takes time and effort on the part of the individual in question. Psychedelic soul searching takes time and sober effort, imo.

after regaining my bearings a bit i settled down and thought the whole thing through

Although alot of folks do not care much for Salvia, I  on the other hand, have a great relationship with it..  That said, have you done much research into the effects of 5-MEO-DMT???  Your mileage may vary, but most reports find that 5-MEO is, as Shulgin stated, a simple stoning drug of not much value..  Sure, it'll get you off etc, in small dosage units, but the 'buzz' isn't particularily worthwhile...

i love salvia, i'm just afraid its too strong for me
and that a little bit leaves a big mark for a long time
i had an incredible experience with salvia last night,
i kept repeating to myself "this is so incredible, i'm home, i'm home"
i felt my mind/body dissolve and i only existed as a wave vibrating
thru space
i noticed that the more one starts meditating regularly the better the relationship one can have with this incredible teacher
senor, do u have any tips on how to develop a better relationship with salvia? and how much is too much?

Sorry for taking so long to reply..   As far as how to go about preparing:  I, for certain can not answer that!!  The reason is, that when I first tried Salvia, I was put into that unique mental and emotional state that I'd always found so rarefied and yet so very much wanted as a constant...  I've done countless substances over the years, as I'm sure many on this forum have as well.  That said, throughout my years of psychonautical travels, I'd occasionally find myself in a state of being where I "got the big AH HA!!"  Where I knew that THIS is where I so strived to be....  Throughout all the years, this would happen to me on whichever substance, but never consistently....  I was always left wanting that "magic buzz".....  Yeah well, when I smoked Sally, BINGO!!! ---  It was there, instantly, and repeatedly...  I know that's a pretty all encompassing statement, but Salvia puts me in a realm that I super enjoy, that I find most comfortable, that aw shucks should I dare say it:  Promotes senors' mental health!!!... :wink: ----  Sure some like one substance, some like another, but for me, I make no big preparations, don't bother alling on "mother Moon/sisterSun or any of that...  Salvia just has the unique ability to take me right where I need to go.......  Yes, most don't feel this way about her, and fine....  ' Leaves ' more 'fer me ---sal

swim has years and years of drug experience and he usualy advocates their use for some healing  but in this case i have to agree you should take a long break and just try to think about what happened more . Some experiences you can learn from for a long time.

Native Americans didn't smoke salvia, they chewed the fresh leaves in pairs.
