I just started some Malaysian Kratom seeds in a mix of MiracleGro organic choice and perlite. It's been 3 days and I can begin to see them germinating.

Any tips or advice on growing these guys from seed would be very welcome. :D

Keep the humidity up. A clear dome is best for that. I usually use clear 2 or 3 liter soft drink bottles with the bottoms cut out. They can be put over the pot if the pot is small enough. Or, put a sheet of clear plastic wrap over the pot if it's larger. You don't want to cut off all air, just close it off enough so that the humidity stays high. They will grow very slowly and many will likely die if you aren't careful. They can be transplanted after they get about a half inch or more in height.

Yeah, I've got them under a 6" humidome, with closeable vents for decreasing/increasing humidity levels.

They're in there with a some cacti sprouts, Rifat clones, and pereskiopsis cuttings.

Starting to get kinda crowded.

I expect to lose about half of them before/directly after first transplant. Anymore than that and I will be dissapointed.

I'm excited to possibly have some new genes to work with in my little kratom production room.

Did you get these seeds from me?  I haven't heard back from anyone I sold seeds to.
