Cloning gels

I'm about to enter the modern age and trade in my old rooting powder for cloning gel.  It turns out there are several to choose from, Clonex, Olivia's, Rootech, etc.   Anyone have experience with these that could make a recommendation?  I've spent a couple hours googling these things just trying to compare ingredient lists, and I'm worn out trying to decide.  I suspect they are all much the same, but hope to get some advice from those wiser than me.

While I don't claim to be wiser than anyone, I've used rootech AND powder with good results. (Make cutting immediately dip in gel and then into the powder.) I'm pretty sure Varj told me once that the main difference between the rooteck and the more expensive brands is the addition of an anti-fungal? agent in the more spendy versions. And as I've had no fungal problems so far, I've stuck with the effective but cheaper product.

Thanks lw.  I saw that Olivia's has a fungicide (don't know what) and I think Clonex has one as well (once again, no idea what).  Rootech was very vague about their formulation except for the percentage of IBA.  This raises another question, as to whether the fungicide makes much difference, and if so, which one are they using?

I've been using clonex but I get about the same results with or without.

I once ran out of gel in the middel of a cloning project. Most of the plants rooted, but it was very evident which ones got the gel. They had much greater root mass by the time they were transplanted into soil.....

I have a bottle of Clonex ive never used, and a caapi cutting in a glass of water with small leaves coming out but no roots, and green mildew-like stuff is growing along the stem... does anyone have any experience rooting caapi cuttings w/clonex? or any other method recommendations?

Caapi can be tough to clone. I've started using my clonex again but as usual, it doesn't seem to make much difference
