I've yet to hear of anyone in the U.S. having one to bloom.I have a 7foot  A.colubrina var. cebil from '99 seed, that I'm praying will someday.
Any further info on how to stimulate blooming would be wonderful.

I've got a couple smaller ones. I don't expect blooms but it would be nice. I wonder if you altered the photoperiod would it bloom? I doubt it. HBWR won't set seed unless it really likes the climate so I doubt you could trick it unless you mimicked the exact conditions it's used to

WOW,
7 and 10 footers, what climates are you guys in?well , i know where you are dendro, everything grows well there.what about you carlos?
mine always stay fairly small,as opposed to the acacia's/mimosa's,and thats if i can get em past the first winter.
these guys are very finicky for sure.
i'm getting better at em,but geez.

also looking for mimosa hostilis seeds.
i know i can get 10,000 for a $100,but i only need 20 or so.

i've got plenty of goodies.
thanks.

Spun,
I'm in Zone 7B and I keep mine inside  during winter under CFLs.I use Peter's 20/20/20 bimonthly during growing cycle. She's in a 15gal. pot now and root bound out the wazoo.I wonder if this is good or bad for blooming.I know Morning Glories bloom better if root bound.

Have A. peregrinas growing in full ground,..... some are now very large,... they have yet to bloom. Largest one is more then 15 ft tall.

They are 2 to 3 years old,.. they are very fast growing trees.

Thought that I'd keep you posted -  I will post if they flower and set seed.
