Me and a few of my friends gonna play at the World Famous Torch Club, our third NYE there in a row.

The Torch is one of the coolest bars anywhere, me and the fellas ( a whole posse of music vets) have been able to play there hundreds of times over the past 20 or so years. And what's cool is we have "artistic freedom" and a measure of security. So what's I'm sayin is, it's like home.

So I am gonna ring it in like I almost always do, on a little stage in some joint, have a grand old time!!

Did I ever tell ya about the NYE I played at a nudist club?
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling

Hope everyone's end of year festivities were great.
here for New years, we had nice homemade pizzas with friends, even a nice tofu one. walked out for fireworks under the rain, and then we went to a psy party, listening to local djs.
i was in one of those drunken nights where i "love youuuu man", so i drooled on people telling them how much i love them. yesterday was head in the bucket and today is back to normal.

Have a happy, loving and healthy 2007:):)

wouuhhhhh!!!!!!

Sounds like a nice night Fuzz, sans the head in bucket post-party feeling.

I too wish everyone the best for the coming cycle.

glad plenty o' good times was had by all...

we made some sounds...
(even _all_ the verses of bobbie burns' "auld land syne", sheesh...)
& the lovely ms morningstar set down her fiddle for a bit, & sang for us donovan's "widow with a shawl - a portrait" whilst i plunked on my ol' ovation guitar... 'twas fun...
ah but i was so much older then...

We were disappointed and came home to laugh our asses off at South Park episodes. Liquid Revival was more revival than liquid, so we had to add the liquid ourselves.

Sounds like a splendid time was indeed had by awl. Sorry about that Ovation Gnrm(that's a joke, the luthiers I work with hate them almost as much as Rickenbachers).

We rang it in in fine fashion at the Torch, at midnight we were singing Auld Lang Syne and then whipped into I Feel Good (James Brown of course) with my woman up on stage dancin' with me. We took a short break (well not that short) and played right past our 1 AM end time all the way till close to 2.

One of the good ones, maybe the best ever!

Live long and prosper, my friends!
