I Herd about Mrs sally and was quite interested, so I went to the local head shop and bought some yellow strength salvia zone salvia extract. My first time I didn't feel much but saw some colors when I closed my eyes and felf like I was being sucked into a hole. The next time I was sitting outside at night with some friends who were drunk. I smoked several pipefulls and all of a sudden I felt the overwellming urge of being smashed down by something and everything was really bright. Afther that I had a couple minits of uncontrollable laughter while rolling around on the ground. It was a good experience, but I was annoyed by the antics of my drunk friends. We were in two completly seperate states of mind. the only drugs I have only tried this and marijuana, which I dont like and usually freek out on. I want to go deeper into the world of Salvia, as it was a very enjoyable experience. Has anyone else used Salvia Zone? I'm thinking about getting some of the red level.

Read about reverse tolerance.  You should become more sensitive over time.  It would most likely be a mistake to get a stronger extract.  Probably should get a live plant and grow your own.  But if you freak out on marijana, I'm a bit worried.  You've just touched the lower levels of what salvia has in store for you.
...and as if from the inception of time itself I realized I was and had been for sometime, elsewhere, elsewhen or somehow, quite seriously, otherwise...

What I dont like about Marijuana is the loss of memory feeling, like you dont have any short term memory and loose preception of time. I seem to be ultra sensative too it also. a little bit does a lot to me. I dont know if freek out is quite a good description of what happens, but I usually dont enjoy the feeling, and get really nervous about things. Not my drug of choice. What I liked about salvia is it doesn't last for too long, and it gave me a vicoden like high for a while afterwards. I want to explor deeper, but am also a little nervous.

hmmmm, salvia can cause changes in perception of time and memory loss like no other substance i've experienced.  If you are particularly sensitive to such changes, salvia could greatly amplify that.  Still though, it is different than the changes mj causes so it is hard to say if you will or will not like salvia.  I wouldn't exactly call the effect of salvia "memory loss" as sometimes it really seems like I'm just remembering something I forgot about a long time ago which makes the present seem less important. As far as time perception:  Once I had a salvia experience whereas I felt like I was gone at least 2 weeks exploring various places.  When I finally started to come around on my bedroom floor, I was worried as I was sure I had been laying there 2 weeks and how I was going to explain my absense.  When reality finally took hold enough that I could make out the clock I realized I had been "gone" five minutes.  It really was a strange, nervous, worried type feeling, hard to describe that, but didn't last long, so all and all not bad.  Luckly the two week trip was good. - just coming back was rocky. But I've thought afterward, man i'd hate to have a two week trip that was bad - even if in "real" time it was only five minutes - really time has no meaning.

Thats kind of how mj feels to me, but w/o the tripping. just like time has stopped, and I'm boared and nervous. The two week trip sounds like it could be at the opposite end of the spectrum, extremely terrifying or extremely plesurable. In both cases just plain crazy, but still something that I want to experience, i think, maby, well maby not for 2 weeks

Something to try with MJ is just consume LESS of it.....just ramp up slowly......also....IMHO modern MJ is starting to be almost exclusivly Indica, with very little Sativa.....to me, they are like night and day.

TSTT  really has given you great advice regarding salvia.

(lets hope corporate america doesn't read your last post TSTT..there goes the two week vacation!!)  "Here, come into this room, lie down, we have a vacation for you".......hmmm maybe it actually might be a Good Idea...
hmm..is the wind offshore yet?

HAHA kinda like the movie total recall.

I tried less MJ the last time, just shared a small bowl with my GF. she felt only slight effects, and she never smokes, but my mind got put through the ringer, like my vision was in pictures instead of film like it normally is. The weird thing is back in highschool I smoked here ant there and it was way different feeling. Then I had nothing for 2 or 3 years and now it's a completly different sensation.

A friend of mine has been lucky enough to get sativa all summer and might prefer none at all to Indica at this point, although it just makes his girlfriend pass out.

We disagree with the comment about modern mj becoming mostly indica. At least around these parts.

Also, we at the guild consider the indica varieties to be more calming and less intense than the sativa strains currently available. For example, we've never witnessed a person go down after smoking indica offerings, but can't count the number of times we've seen folks take dives after partaking of the sativa strains. (no kidding.)

Btw... I've met a couple of people who have shown signs of extreme anxiety while smoking mj that almost seem like an allergy, but are able to enjoy the lsd and mushroom experience. Still, sally still isn't for everyone, imo.

MY friends have reported the opposite too, though.  One friend of a friend of a friend who has anxiety reactions every time she smokes indica absolutely loves sativa.  It is definitely stronger, but it also seems to provide a sort of mood lift that seems to counteract her anxiety.  OF course, she has a friend who refuses to smoke sativa because it makes her fall asleep and "is boring", so who can say?

When I say I've seen sativa strains knock people down, I do mean that literally. Grown men, no less. (And I'm not talking about causing sleep, either.)

To each his/her own I guess.

I'm guessing it's inevitable that we here in the U.S. will find mostly Indica strains...  I mean, c'mon folks; the peeps that are commercially into the game for profit are gonna go for the highest yielding/shortest growth cycle they can find...  Hence all the indica....  If'n one was to grow Sativa, you'd have to wait forever for maturity, as well as literally raise the roof!!  (nuthin like a 14ft Cambodian Red to lift the spirits 8) )-------  That said, I for one, dearly love Sativa, and disdain Indica with a passion...........         sal            "Course, on the other hand;  I find my true love to be Salvia............
