Strange piece of Bohemian Grove history/humor/what the fuck??? I came across in my travels.  Never seen this, so I thought I should post it to preserve it.  It is on legal size paper, double spaced - like a legal document of the era.   The last part sounds like they are suggesting alcohol, cocaine, drugs and/or something?  This isn't really etheogenically related, I don't think, but Alexander T. Shulgin was in attendance that year - he is Camp Tunerville.  I checked a map, camp Sempervirens is next to camp Interlude.

NOTICE OF DETENTION, LEVY AND SEIZURE
                       AND
INJUNCTION AND RESTRAINING ORDER


TO ALL UPON WHOM HIS PROCESS MAY BE SERVED, GREETING!

  WHEREAS, at a time more than fifty years past, SEMPERVIRENS, a noble and enlightened body of men, did choose and select, lay claim to and gain title to an inspiring campsite located at the extreme eastern boundary of the Bohemian Grove, and thereupon did erect and thereafter maintain and implement a stately edifice, and did frequently publicly declare their sole right and interest thereto, thereby gaining pure and perfect title to said land and all appurtenances, improvements, structures, flora, fauna and mineral rights; and

    WHEREAS, many years thereafter, a homeless and desperate group of wayfarers did seek shelter from Care in a small gully to the east of but upon the land thereafter acquired by the Bohemian Club and which and thereupon, by the process of accretion, and by the civil right of per alluviones, to accrescere to the property of said SEMPERVIRENS, and by beseeching the compassion and sympathy of said lawful owners, were suffered to remain only upon representation and promise that said occupation of said gully by said trespassers would be fleeting and temporary, as acknowledged by their acceptance of the designation of INTERLUDE; and

   WHEREAS, contrary to said representation and without authority, permission, privilege nor color of title, INTERLUDE has erected a storeroom or warehouse upon the lawful property of SEMPERVIRENS and have utilized said unlawful structure to store spiritous liquors and other beverages, all without lawful right or authority; and

    WHEREAS,  said structure and all its contents by superior title were and now are the lawful property of SEMPERVIRENS, and to remove to utilize its contents is a violation of the property rights of SEMPERVIRENS and a criminal and intentional trespass punishable by action of debt, detention, replevin, criminal and civil arrest, flogging, confinement with reduction of rations and other legal process,

     NOW, THEREFORE, you are hereby administered, admonished, advised, bidded, cited, charged, commanded, convoked, demanded, dictated, directed, enjoined, evoked, instructed, invoked, mandated, ordained, ordered, prescribed, requested, required and summoned, as follows:
                      I.
    That the wooden structure to which this notice and process is attached and all its contents therein is hereby levied upon and seized by SEMPERVIRENS, as its sole exclusive property.
                       II.
     That consumption of any of the contents of said structure which shall be or have heretofore been removed from said structure is illegal, immoral and probably fattening, and all those sipping, swallowing, tasting or otherwise ingesting any of such  contents or its product shall immediately cease and desist, discontinue and restrain all such illegal activity.
                     III.
     That all those who may have heretofore inadvertently and ignorantly and mistakenly violated the lawful rights of SEMPERVIRENS must immediately repair to and report to the Exalted Legal Officer of said SEMBERVIRENS and endeavor to exculpate themselves by proceeding as follows:
1.  Identification.  Give name, rank and Bohemian Club number
2.  Full confession. Miranda forms will be supplied.
3.  Plea bargaining.  Try our special weekend discount.
4.  Public apology and lament, with music.
5.  Fixing of bail. Cash only, no checks or credit cards.
6.  Administration of appropriate medicinal prescriptions, tonics, and/or other stimulants to overcome nervous shock, emotional trama, embarrassment, ridicule and derision.
    Executed this 23rd day of July, 1977
