I was trying to load them here but I've faced difficulty.  I mainly wanted to show the odd mutation on a T. grandiflorus I recently picked up from Altman plants.  They're shown in the first four pictures.  It looks like the pupping has gone out of control and the new pups are so covered in aereoles that they are completely covered in fuzz.

edit - Oh yeah, a link would help. . .

If that doesn't work, they're under solar_tea in the yahoo photo section.

Those pics are awesome .. I hope they are there forever.  I have a 'mutant' like the T. Grandiflorus but its a T.Pach and i had pressumed it was from the new pups being continually damaged by slugs and snails and keeping on making ever-smaller pups from the damaged tip. I've since removed it to a place where they can't get at it, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I echo the sentiments. I still have that cholla you sent me years ago and its doing well, although it still hasn't bloomed like it was when you first sent it!

Nice pics. I picked up some of those Trich. Grandifloruos hybrids from home depot, is that where you got them?
