OK i was researching psychedelic therapy and how lsd is used in such therapy and i figured that instead of jumping straight into the god of hallucinogens for therapy try out dreaming first, so i figured sinicuichi and saw a website (i think iamshaman.com selling an extract of the herb) but then remembered about my experiment with making it into a dried resin (it didnt work) so i want to know why that might be i know research on the plant is minimal but does anyone have any personal data to share?

Questions i have about sinicuich:

does the active ingredient in sinicuichi need H2O or a ligiud to keep from breaking down.
does performing an extract work, yet making a resin not? if so how?
has anyone successfully made a extract, not resin of sinicuichi?

it is possible that the plant may be inactive, or you dont react to the chems, ll my personal experiences havent amounted to anything...

the traditional brewing is to leave the leaves to wilt and leave the leaves in water for 24hours in the sun.

this suggests that the chemicals are water soluble and that may require fermentation to produce them, the suns uv can act as a catalyst in some reactions but will also breakdown many chemicals.

for the water, make sure you are using distilled water (no Cl-), spring water will not do. In extracts like hbwr seeds, Chlorine will break down the products, so same could apply, cant help to try.

resin may not have worked if heating the brew destroys the actives..

hope this may help, and lead you to some success

i didnt think of destroying the chems because i did heat water in the micrwave to a boil and then added the resin then kept reheating it untill it all dissolved (it was very hard to redissolve almost impossible) and you make very good points thank you for sharing i am planning on getting a bunch of dream inducing herbs and items and making my own little drink/pill that i like the best and your insight has helped me out alot i especially liek the idea about fermentation! i will most definetally try to let it steep for a longer time to see if the effects are more know! Thank You!!!
