Hammering the truth

Here's a story that came out last month (6th May 2006) in Delaware Online News Journal, which I think I saw around the time but I've only just re-read it and picked up on something very disturbing.

http://www.delawareonline.com/apps/pbcs ... /-1/NEWS01

In the words of the report…

"On Tuesday, [2nd May 2006] Dr. Adrienne Sekula-Perlman, deputy chief medical examiner in Delaware, revised Chidester's death certificate to add 'salvia divinorum use' as a contributing cause of his death. The immediate cause remains carbon-monoxide poisoning, which happened when Chidester enclosed himself in a tent and lit a charcoal grill.

Sekula-Perlman would not comment on her decision."

Yes that's right, over three months after Brett's suicide, with (we can assume) no evidence of any trace of Salvinorin A in Brett's system, the deputy chief medical examiner saw fit to alter Brett's death certificate and add Salvia divinorum use as a contributing cause of his death. â€" And, she has then subsequently refused to comment of her decision.

We all knew about the media hysteria, but it looks like that storytelling has now fed back into the official version of the 'facts'. It means Brett's death is now part of the official 'statistics' of course.  I guess we can expect the DEA to go on and use the case as 'evidence' for its anti-Salvia legislation at a national level.

...

Also, I don't know how out of context it's been taken, but another disturbing aspect in the story is the alleged quote from Capt. Chip Simpson, commander of the Delaware State Police special investigations section who said (in the words of the report) he considers the new state law a tool that police can use to crack down on overall drug abuse, even if salvia rarely is encountered.

"If we do run into it, it's another hammer we can put on people," Simpson said.

A few blogs have picked up on this "hammer" quote. As I suggest, there may be some doubt as to whether quote has been taken out of context, but the following rants are good value in any case…

Sounds like alcohol is a contributing factor in every death then.

Too many people don't realize that chemicals do not MAKE anybody do anything. That report said the guy left a note saying that Saliva had made him realize life wasn't worth living. If that's true, it means nothing at all beyond that one case. Look at Charles Manson: LSD didn't turn anyone else into a murderous cult leader, so you can't very well blame the chemical, you have to blame the person.

i blame broccolis. broccolis are BAD and should be outlawed immediately.
i am appaled that no one has yet paid attention to this dangerous vegetable. if this vegetable looks nice and cuddly to you, dont be fooled my friends, its part of an Illuminati plot to make us think the broccoli is good for us. this is a actually dangerous criminal:

here are a few reminder to the true nature of this green veggie which we all take for some innocent greenery in our plate:
how many times is a driver taken by surprise by one of his own farts created by this evil vegetables, and drives into the curb?
how many times do people choke on this vegetable with a shape which surely no god could create it is so ugly!!?
how many times has a brocoli been mistaken for a brain, and a brain operation consequently was forgotten as the doctors operate the broccoli instead of the brain of the poor patient!!?
have you seen how much room broccolis take in your plate? obviously attacking violently the other vegetables from your meal!!!

those are just a  few exemples of the true evilness of the killer commonly called: the broccoli.

lets take actions against this bad green. lets keep our kids aways from such an ugly and wrong doer.

====================
this was a public anouncement by your local KLCP org. with KLCP, keep your life clean and pure.
====================

yeah salvia told that kid that life is worthless. what else did life tell him? if the kid had a tv, i bet some science fiction movie told him we live in big space ships "going where no man has gone before" or some other nerdy stuff like that. he could have jumped of the spaceship!!! i think we should blame tv, lets make tv illegal for all the bowlshit on it!!!!
those are proffessional propagandist, its to us to give them our own propaganda.

i tried not to long ago to have some conversation with one of those brainwashed tv eating idiots. on some french forum, someone wrote an article about how "drugs are bad, they take away your personality and replace it with wretched desires for more dope"... i kindly reminded the person, that the term "drug" did not make any sense in that context, since drugs can also heal, can be food, ectect, and that perhaps he wanted to make his text clearer as to his subject matter. the person answered that i was "confused" and did not know what i was talking about, and that "alcohol is not a drug".. i again kindly reminded the poor bastard that if i was confused, so were most dictionnaries out there, and linked to wiki entry on "drug". i also asked why if lets say cannabis, or mdma were so "bad", why they were used in hospital settings?
of course no answer, since the person was obvsioulsy ignorant about the subject matter being talked about.
i then got invited to participate in some forum to further discuss my point of view.
my point of view being that the bastard dont know squat shit about the matter, yet likes to write big stuff with big words, i did not feel like discussing the matter any longer and decided to drop the matter.

the anti drug people exist. many of them dont have any knowledge about what they actually write about. its sad to see, but its the truth. "but dude, its on tv"!!

today on the bus from Hamburg Germany to here, i had another one of those laughs helped by a broccoli..uh, i mean a dude who knows all about drugs:
"i come from Amsterdam" he says, "capital of hash".
"cool i say".
"do you smoke?"
"yeah sometimes"
"oh its baaddd!! its veeery veryy dangerous!!! baaadd"
"yeah ok. its your choice" i say, i was not into getting into a discussion with one of them obviously open folks.
"do you drink?" he asks.
"yeah sometimes" i say.
"baadddd!! if you start drinking or smoking, you cant stop and you go crazy!!!"
"yeah ok, that can happen. i dont think its because of the alcohol or the weed, its more about the person".
"no, its bad and dangerous. i want to say pure, so i dont drink or smoke. also its my religion".
"ok, thats your choice dude"
"my bad thing is women" he says.
"yeah same as drugs" i answer.
then the dude actually takes a magazine, looks through it, and shows me some naked pics of some chick. it wasnt porn, just quite tacktfull and elegant pics of naked chicks. still. to one: carry such a magazine with oneself, 2 to show it to a girl never met before , i am not sure what his god would say about that, and how pure that really is.
the other arabic speaking dude with him on the bus was smoking at each bus stop, and then on the bus, when its not allowed.
"see, my friend. hes hooked to smoking. he cant stop"
"of course he can stop if he wants to" i say
"no, he cant."
"yes he can" i say.....
mmaaannnn...got to love bus rides and the integrity and logic of people.

to finish this funny note about BAD broccolis. here is a danish fun story.
a dude got killed, being attacked by other dudes who asked for a smoke. the victim ddint have any, so he got killed.

folks, i have said it and i will repeat it again.
LETS BAN BROCCOLIS!!!!!
and cigarets at the same time, and all that we do for that matter.. its bad , very very bad!!!
<source unknown> does anyone have a computer in here?
