I'll take the bait...(kinda like the Zap comic cover...later 60's..."me me"

yup concrete is natural..as are nuclear reactors....anything we make is natural....trick question is:  "are they good?" and for whom and for how long?

The "greatest good for the greatest amount of people."....Funky moral issues....sometimes the human swarm is just that, a swarm, but with a somewhat "advanced" communication sytem.........

spring has brough gazillions of ANTS to my life....little perfecto nano-tech cleaners......they operate as a pretty good team....just won't stay off of what I'm trying to eat...
hmm..is the wind offshore yet?

Now we're delving into good or bad, eh? That's a tough one from here. It appears we're capable of finding bad applications for most of the good discoveries that are made.

This morning, about the only "unnatural" acts I can come up with are sexual abuse against children and maybe incest.

Btw, I just noticed the ants a couple of days ago, too. They come into the kitchen near the garbage only if there are crumbs, or even one damnable crumb. They sure know how to crash a party.

Anyone else have ant farms as a kid?

The first (and only) one I bought sent a colony of bad-ass little red ants that bit like hell when we tried to get them in their new cell, er, home.

After that, I just dug up colonies and established them in mason jars. Never did run across any as mean as the store bought bunch.

I had one. what I remember is the ants hudlling together dying, and turning into lumps of brown goo.
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling
