WOD: Pukka

[Indra]

Mahapakva, the court's great chef,
dons a garment fit for kings
laden with jewels and with gold.
Not a soul dare pollute the air
with insult,
especially having tasted
the pukka cuisine that
spills out from his kitchen
at night.

and it's not for naught
that the pukka elephants
trail from far off caverns
to come home jiggling from head to toe
with the finest of bells
freshly picked from scented gardens

nor lack of draught
that causes the freshly
gergitated slop
that passes for fine cuisine
to flow pukka-like
out to the gutter and beyond.....
