I think the cave is mostly dark,
except for in the corners.

I really don't think such things should be discussed.  At least not here.
...and as if from the inception of time itself I realized I was and had been for sometime, elsewhere, elsewhen or somehow, quite seriously, otherwise...

I like the cave.  It's cold, damp and full of things best kept underground.

Well indeed,...I may not post here often but I do check by almost daily but It got me thinking, im a moderator but in such a forum I wonder what jobs there are for me !   But more importantly it got me thinking about the very nature of this forum...is it a miscellaneous forum, is it an illicit forum ?   Maybe it occasionally discusses illicit things but this isn't always against the SPF rules all depends on nature of post.

Well yah know, it's your forum, I imagine you can moderate it however you see fit too within reason.  The only dispute I ever recall reguarding the cave was a thread about filtering auto grade nitrous and the synthesis of nitrous and health dangers, precautions exc.  But it was deemed an acceptable topic after a little debate.  I recall the whole squabble was that it wasn't a plant, so it had no place on a plant forum.

I usually just post stuff here that doesn't really belong anywhere else.  Mostly I'd just reccomend stearing clear of Research Chem discussions.  But thats just me.

i think that the cave gives the bvibe of a misc forum, with a dab of thing that are of interest for discussion but not as openly/in the light as a long house type topic...
so rather than illicit, an alternative mindset of sorts...
"why must we live like penguins in the dessert?
why cant we live like tribes?"

interesting .. when we started the refuge we copied the exact wording from the old site, ie:  the cave is the place to post topics that are best kept underground.

Boy, without the cave...Where would I be able to ask about how to sternucate my greasy dipropyl coat of many colors?

And where would I post my fetish for the really BIG pictures of Andy's Ass?

Then there the is the now non-hick-sistent Willow. I still owe him a comprehensive squid encrusted spork collection. It's on topic here...but the long house? Dang.

The Cave serves a porpoise. How to dive in the Loompanics trout dumpster for Max Cavaleria cd's while avoiding the potato gun weilding penis weasels.

Does it all make sense now?

I think LJ you may have hit the nail on the head, it also seems you have gone nuts in this cave..all the damp and darkness!  Go now and get some fresh air in the garden or somewhere ( i just posted there and could do with some input :P ! )

Hmmm, this dude said It best,  thinkest I...

"He will require to grow accustomed to the sight of the upper world. And first he will see the shadows best, next the reflections of men and other objects in the water, and then the objects themselves; then he will gaze upon the light of the moon and the stars and the spangled heaven; and he will see the sky and the stars by night better than the sun or the light of the sun by day."
