It was cool when we had a choice of skins but i don't mind what it looks like as long as i can read it.
Some colours are hell on ageing eyes.

Yes, indeed! SPF just doesn't look right not in black/green  :-/

Also, we don't seem  to have a :-/ emoticon... not that that matters i spose :roll:

I'm definitely putting my vote in for a skin change... not that I was a really big fan of the original forum's skin, but definitely more... earthy... natural... blue/white/silver is very... uh... default?

Very default--that's it. I liked the old restful brown style. This is not bad, but it looks like every other phpBB. Haven't gotten confused in my posts, but still, SPF Refuge is unique.

How does a skin get changed? Can we submit color schemes/ideas?

I've had a little practice with making/customising phpbb skins and would be honoured to try + make a new one(s) for SPF... mayb something like this one i made for the PaganSoc @university? Or maybe something completely different? Let me know if I can be of help :)

ok, i am about 1/2way thru 1st attempt, am using this default subSilver theme as a template... are there any SPF-specific things i need to take into account other than the links at the top in the overall_header.tpl (SPF radio/chat etc.)?
