hmm that's weird... I can't connect to any IRC server with any program?
I opened port 6667 on my firewall but it's not that... any suggestions?

the problem seems to be in the port indeed, is there an alternate port I can connect to?

that's where to go. i can't remember where that is served up from, my memory tells me that is no-ip.

anyway. go there. that is where we all are. irc.bctel.org points there sometimes but you are almost guaranteed goodness if you use kemp's dynamic dns redirection. about 99.9% guaranteed even!

I can't seem to go to either kemp's or the normal server.  The normal server just says that my password is invalid, no idea what that is all about.  Kemp's server just doesn't try to connect period.
If at all possible, involve a cow.
