* Featured Classic Rock Album: Bruce Springsteen, *Tunnel of Love* (1987) . . . The Boss had just hit the peak of fame in '84 and '85 with his *Born in the USA* LP, & then even went on to marry himself a pretty blonde actress . . . happiness? Maybe, for a bit . . . but this record chronicles rawly & beautifully the aftermath of that happiness, the crumbling into doubt, deceit, & a kind of melancholy acceptance . . . a bold, honest, deeply moving set of songs, fiercely vulnerable, wonderfully redemptive . . .

* Storybook Time*: Continuing Chapter 12 of *The Unconsoled* by Kasuo Ishiguro . . .

* Featured Classic Rock Album Redux: The Beatles, *Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band* (1967) . . . Played this album last time 10/22/2005, & another happy round with it because it's been given a 50th anniversary edition that features a new stereo remix by Giles Martin, son of original producer George . . . on headphones, it sounds really really nice . . . & so it's time for this show to honor again this brilliant, crazy, miracle of an album . . . fun, dark, wise, foolish . . . thank you, John, Paul, George, & Ringo . . . & George, & Giles!
