Does anyone have some favorite live concert DVD's they would recommend.
I haven't seen that many but I'll put The Rolling Stones - Bridges to Babylon tour as one.

Closing of Winterland( I think that's what it's called) Good Ole Grateful Dead
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling

I must confess that one of my faves is from a band (Pink Floyd)...  What's so odd is that I don't even care much 'fer Floyd...  Never bought an album, went to a concert once because everybody else wanted to go, and I really did not care much for them...  That said, I gotta admit that I find Pink Floyd: LIVE AT POMPEII (SP??)  TO BE A STUNNING SONIC WORK.  It's just the band themselves and all their equipment.  Not a real concert, just them jamming at the ancient site of the ruins...    I'd also suggest Last Waltz by The Band as well as The Kids Are Allright by The Who; and let us not forget Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young.  That one will demonstrate how 'ole Neil can make a Fender scream!!------  senorsal
