On 22nd July, I will be at Namaste Bookshop in New York giving a talk about the years I spent living with ayahuasca shamans in the Amazon jungle in a bid to heal an agonising and supposedly incurable illness. I will also be signing copies of my new book which tells this story, Shedding the Layers: How Ayahuasca Saved More Than My Skin.


While in the jungle the medicine spirits of the Amazonian trees came to me and began to teach me. I learned that the eczema was a wakeup call from Spirit to radically change my way of living and perceiving the world. The book mixes the story of my fight to overcome this illness with timeless wisdom that I learned directly from the spirits through my spiritual awakening.
