Ernest Ranglin is great!
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling
                 Jack Green

hahahaah and you missed Burnt Freidman JRL!!!
Burnt is great stuff. i think youd like it..its the new wave jazz. its electronic, yet its jazzy. its super clean as a production. Burnt 's played with many styles, but one thing is sure; its always spiffy....

i'll play Friedman again, just cause hes great:)

ahahhahaah....indeed he does JRL :P .
Burnt does such great stuff, that i made cds for my dad with a few Burnt albums. my dad is a blues-jazz lover, which could explain my own liking for such tunes, and i figured that the best way to get my dads ears introduced to the wonderful world of electronica, Burnt would be a great way to go.

Fuzzy Transfer schedule.
as usual i am totally slacking on updating shows. last show played some Bjork remixes in finish (i think its finish), and some other weird stuff.

for this winter solstice, fuzzy transfers will be doing the bear, hibernating, and keeping quiet.
see you next year for more fuzzy transfers :D

tonight on the fuzzy show we have:

DJ Psyfari, some great mixes, with the only mixes i heard so far with the great Alan Watts. MC Kenna gets quite boring after a while me thinks;)
http://www.cyberian.ca/djpsyfari/

some music from Tinariwen. A Touareg group from the southern Sahara whose music is close to the blues of Ali Farka Toure. The band's name means "empty places" which certainly reflects their desert...
http://tinariwen.calabashmusic.com/

music from the amazing Toshinori Kondo, for some nostalgic jazzy electronica tunes.
http://www.scaruffi.com/avant/kondo.html

mixed in this, we will have some Grateful Dead, some Tommy Guerrero, and some Bikstok Røgsystem, a popular danish hip hop group.
http://www.beggars.com/us/tommyguerrero/index.html

enjoy your evening on Spiritplants radio.
