1st Clarinet
and 3 Black Backup Singers
I have been playing clarinet for 3 weeks, and I will be providing the second clarinet part. Please send your musical resume, including playing experience, influences, and your musical goals. We will be playing gigs that earn at least $1,200 per performance, as we will be the only Rock/Country/Metal/Polka band in the United States. I have pro equipment- (Selmer student model plastic clarinet), and expect that you have the same or better for your gear. I have studio time booked at my friends' basement, and he is only charging me $200/hour. I can also book your band at places that you could have booked yourself for $300 per booking. Clarinet-led Rock/Country/Metal/Polka music will be on the rise soon, so we could get in on it before anyone else. Serious inquiries only!

Got together with the string-fellows last night in stormy L'Ames Iowa. No band name yet, but the first album is tentatively named "Unicorn Landing Pad."

We grooved for a couple of hours last night. In that time, we managed to play, like, five tunes, if you count the Dylan cover that Rick only sang nine or ten versus as a whole song.

Neighbor lady came around later complaining that we had been playing too softly for her to hear very well when she snuck onto the porch earlier. That old gal has a wild look in her eyes and sexual innuendo always on her tongue, quick to point out where she'd REALLY like it. Anyway, she must have caught a quite passage, and we've been digging those broad sonic brush strokes of acoustic joints.

LOL We asked bassies 15 year old daughter about the demographics of the unicorn scene and she said six year old girls and pedophiles. hahahahaha

Meanwhile, the "groupie" in question keeps talking about guys that try to convince her that 5" is really 18" and stealing sideways glances toward the gat player. Either he wasn't getting it or he was playing dumb, but I'm pretty sure the 15 going on 16 year old girl caught the innuendo. (As for the prospective groupie: Think "salt-of-the-earth," but older and saltier.)
