Hi. I have a really touchy question that may be problematic for this forum, but I thought I'd try it anyway:

I have a young friend who has severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He had read some information online about the effectiveness of hallucinogenic mushrooms for nullifying the brain triggers for this disease. The problem, as you know, is that obtaining these mushrooms is illegal.
Well, somehow he was able to get a batch of high potency mushrooms and tried them. There was some result, but certainly not a healing of his mental illness (as he'd hoped)
I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with this kind of thing - or if anyone knows of a practicing shaman in the Boston area who can work with OCD - either thru peyote, mushrooms or soul retrieval.
This poor guy keeps in his room 24 hours a day - except for when he goes to therapy.
I'd love to see him healed. He's a smart and dear person.

Off topic but on topic, how long has your, (20 something?), friend had OCD?

I was once told by a doc that he felt that I was borderline OCD.  Was beng treated for anxiety/depression issues...  The regular treatment regimes such as Zoloft and the like were an abysmal failure...  I began self medicating with Salvia and attained complete remmision..  Of the top of my head, I can't recall if S.D. still is legally available in Mass.  If so, he might want to try it...  BTW,  My remmision from depression was attained with sub psychonautical dosage units... Cheap and sublimely effective for yours truly... Good luck....

This is my thought on this as far as bringing the body back to balance bc I don't like to use the word cure. I think it depends on the underlying cause of the OCD. Now in my belief this type of disorder is caused not only by emotional trama but also intestinal imbalnces. That being said I might alternate this with cappi vine session. Also when I spoke with others who have claimed that shrooms have helped there OCD they said they did it in low doses often.

it's still legal, one of my asshole Republican neighbors who also happens to be  Rep. Daniel K. Webster tried to pass a bill in Mass a few years back to ban it. but I think no one really cared about it here in Mass. As far as I know the bill is dead. either way it didn't pass.

it's kinda pricey here though, I won't name the store(PM me if you wanna know) but there is atleast one place in Boston that still sells it.
most the places that  sold it in the past got scared and stopped carrying it when the bill was proposed. I suggest buying it online. way cheaper and better product most of the time.
