Hey Avery! (ATGS?) Eh, life's not too bad, I guess. I work too much and don't have enuff free time. I try to keep sane by gardening some, playing at teaching myself Linux, and cooking with my wife.  She's looking for a job right now-- she got laid off a few weeks ago--- and we're both planning a trip to Peru and Bolivia for September.  Can't wait for that, but there's so much to plan and get done before then!  But, hey, long weekend starting Friday!  :)

Mostly lurk on SPF and very occasionally chat, don't post much these days.  Glad to be able to stick my head in every now-and-then and see familiar folks, tho.

Wow, sounds like little time for dull moments.  Thats awesome your heading to Peru and Bolivia in september.  If I was to do any out of the country traveling those are on the very top of my list, right next to brazil.  Take some pics will yah!  Let me know if you plan on spotting any cactus carts.  Anywhoo, glad to see your still around.

That's very odd.  The last time I heard from Ringworm, he was due to get out of juvie soon.  Something about he was turning 18, and they couldn't keep him locked up anymore.

It is entirely possible that I've confused RW with my inner child.  It is also possible that RW and my inner child are one and the same.

Speak of the debil! I was just reminiscing about you in pm with another old timer.

Btw, your old gal cindy says "hi."

Nailed a retread to my feet
and prayed for better weather...

Man, I still go to Glider's Pen every day (in fact, it's my home page in Firefox). There's way too much dynamic content on the Internet, these days.

Good to see you're still alive.

Amomynous

By the way, Psilly is still doing very well (better than ever, as far as I can tell), although I think he's out in the forest right now for his yearly drop-out-of-humanity-encounter.

Some cool stuff up on his new website (check out his illustration and writing under "GroUp (A Vision of the World Tree)." The tea has been treating him nicely.

Glider

Good to see you folks too!  Very good to see a lot of the old crew still about.  Looking forward to seeing some new as well.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, Anon.  I spent some time rebuilding some of the site.  I actually resurrected my agar stuff from a decade ago.  I'm debating about bringing back the credit card generator and the merchant rater.

Amomynous

Yea, the herbal merchant ratings page was "da bomb" back in the day!

kemp

Hey Glider! Good to see you around again brother. Maybe I'll catch you in the chat one of these days.   :smoke2:

Glider

Hey, good to see you about as well.  I've been hoping to catch you in chat as well.  Unfortunately I need to crash soon, so not tonight.

Take care!

Quote from: "kemp"I do recall almost everyone mentioned here... was wondering also about Groovy Gardner. He helped Eddy with the financing of Spiritplants for the first few years. In fact, I think he paid for almost everything for a while.

GG let us know how you are doing out there!

Greetings one and all, what a fun thread, so great to see all the old timers!

Been evolving a bit, flushed the job to learn fine furniture and construction and moved to the cool north Redwoods, where (what's left of) my poor trichos are dissolving.  Even have a single catha e that's hanging in there too.  Occasionally I'll Google my old "I, Trichocereus" article, and danged if it's still not kicking around on the intertubes.

Kemp, you're giving me too much credit.  I just financed the initial breakaway, Eddy managed it all after that.

That said, I heard somewhere that el oso (**pfffft***) faked his whole "death" at edot - anybody have any details?

Sorry, it took so long to re-visit, it's an amazing thrill to see you folks still keeping the faith!!!
