Quote from: "Teotzlcoatl"The forums here are really slow!!!

We need more people!

Go out to the other forums, ask friends to join up!!!

Here's some other good Entheogenic forums-

Here is a link page for educational entheogenic links of all sorts, mostly pertaining to shrooms.

http://www.mushroomjohn.org/links.htm

I find the Spirit Plants site to be perfectly fine just as it is.

And I personally would not recommend the Shroomery to anyone.

As for other sites. there is a great link page on my site for entheogenic sites with honest data and articles and an international site listing for many countries around the world.  I posted that info above this paragraph.

The flow of traffic here is perfect and as a small knit group of people who share a common interest in entheogenic plants and our love for them, we can share better in their studies and we can all communicate a lot better with one another, our knowledge,  ideas and interests in these plants without mass confusion and misinformation spread as is done at many of those larger sites you mention.

That in itself does not mean that we do not need members. Anyone is welcome to join, but as I noted, this is a cool community of people with likewise interests and the membership is ata  good level where one can pay attention to others thoughts and can relate without any problems form the outside influence of some of the other sites.

A lot of newbies generally come to a forum to learn but very few read the papers available all over the internet which teach one about these plants and their histories and magic.

erowid.org is also a site of free flowing information of many plant entheogens and others of a similar action.  And they have dozens of related links to all sorts of good sites with honext academic data and scholarly papers for people to learn and further help spread the free flow of entheogenism throughout the world

My site has dozens of articles, not just by me but also by others.

I noticed that you post dozens of threads on entheogens.

Have you read the Ott papers on the word and how it came to be. That is also at my site under Scholarly articles in this URL

http://www.mushroomjohn.org/articles.htm

You can now read in its i entirety,

"Washington's Magic Mushrooms by Jonathan Ott from the "Metro Weekly of Seattle, September 21-27, 1977.

http://www.mushroomjohn.org/ottweekly1.htm

I have more articles to be posted but am only doing a few at a time.  I have over 2000 in my library of the more than 2800 articles published in the last 50 years and a little over 50 articles from the time of the Conquest until 1900, A.D.

Keep bringing information to the site. That is cool of you.  But try to organize your threads into a compilation of your ideas.  Give them a title such as "New World Entheogenic Studies I,"  "New World Entheogenic Studies II," New World Entheogenic Studies III," etc.    You can label them as, "New World Entheogenic Studies I: Kratom, etc.  "New World Entheogenic Studies II: Psilocybe,"

Organize your ideas so they make sense and try to keep them in one forum related tot he subject matter.

Spreading the same ideas into different forums gets a little confusing.

Otherwise, have a shroomy day
God is a plant known as the Earth!

John, Good view of SPF. We continue to have the best signal to noise ratio of this type of forum.

Teo, you should take MJs words to heart.
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling

We could use more serious posters. We don't need a bunch of kids but we use to have a thriving community. I for one would like to see things pick up. I'll endorse that part of Teo's suggestion but boomer has good points too. I'd like to see quality, not quantity.

Agreed.

That's why I said "tell your friends" meaning good people that you know and like...
