Jurema Brew

Hello all.

I have been dreaming of having great success with Jurema brews.

I dream of starting out with small doses of 5g mimosa hostilis root bark and 1.5g syrian rue.
Then raise the rue level to 3g. Next, raise the mhrb to 7.5g.

I dream of grinding the mhrb into powder and then grinding the rue seeds into powder.

For a single dose, I dream of using 750 ml distilled water and 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar.
Also dream of lightly boiling the mhrb and rue together for about 1 hour and then straining through cheesecloth
and fine metal mesh coffee filter. Then pouring back into pot and reducing to around 150 ml.
Pour into small clear cup and let cool down to room temperature.

I dream that this tastes terrible as expected.

I imagine to feel the effects coming on within 30 minutes and strong by 1 hour.

I daydream of nice colors, open-eye visuals, patterns and movement.

Outrageous closed-eye visuals and can almost go into dream state.
Constant waves of changing colors, patterns, fractals and swirling images.
Sometimes even hilarious cartoon-type visuals mixed in with the waves of
swirling changing colors and patterns and textures. I'll bet this would be totally amazing.

I have been told the heaviest of this trip lasts about 2 hours and winds down after 4 to 6 hours.
Some people talk about minor nausea during the onset of the peak perios, but nothing serious. This
could be from straining out the dark sediment from the bottom and only thinking about consuming the
oddly green colored liquid.

Dreaming about eating and sleeping within 6 hours which would be great.

My next dream might be to up the mhrb to 10g.

I can only dream of caapi-only brew for a following spritual healing adventure, and then
eventually caapi mixed with either chacruna or chaliponga admixture once my body
is familiar with caapi.

Go for the real Ayahuasca man! It's GREAT!

I'm sure you can handle Caapi + Psychotria if you've already done a Mimosa "Ana'huasca" brew.

BTW, your brew ISN'T "Juerma"... that mimosa ONLY... look it up!

Yeah, I know...but I would rather call it Jurema than Ayahuasca like some westerners do. I think dreaming with larger doses, what one sees as closed-eye visuals would probably become open-eye visuals.

I wonder in a dream how much mhrb one would have to consume to feel substantial effects, without any admixture?

Oh yes, I am definitely hoping for dreams of Aya experiences. Can't wait.

One can only dream of finding the amount of time and seclusion needed for this experience. I dream of the setting to be good without worries and distractions. No TV, phones, computers, unexpected guests etc. I am thinking about maybe renting a cabin deep in the remote woods for a weekend. Otherwise, I would need to wait until I have the house all to myself....but I don't want to wait that long.

I daydream of having all 4 varieties (yellow, white, red, black) and will most likely dream of trying them in that same order. I might dream of trying the yellow a few times before venturing on to the next variety.

Welcome to the forums fellow dreamer...  Since you are a newb, please take the time to become familiar with the posting polices here as regard to issues of a legal nature...  (I'm sure that in your first posting, you merely forgot to mention that your Aya adventure was taken in a place where such a journey is entirely legal)....  Once again, welcome and enjoy.....

That sounds like a wonderful dream!

Try the "Cielo"; Yellow and White Caapis first before you move on....

For your first few brews use only White/Yellow Caapi + Psychotria, save Diplopterys and Red/Black Caapi for when your more experienced.

While brewing take your time, the Aya' should never come to a heavy boil of any kind. It should take 18+ hours. Be sure to follow the diet- //http://www.spiritplants.org/phpbb/topic3177.html

Brew large amounts at a time, remembering that an Ayahuasca brew only keeps for little over 7 days. I think it's best to have a week of sessions varying in intensity, this will allow for the best cleansing.

You'll find that once the Caapi has cleaned out your body (made you puke & poop  :lol: ) that it will no longer have this effect if taken again a short time after (a session within the next 1-3 days)

Do you recommend starting out dreaming about caapi only brew?

I have heard that some people think this is good to do to ease into familiarity with aya.

If you have already done a Mimosa + Syrian Rue brew... I don't really see the point.

I haven't dreamed yet about a "Lie Down On The Floor and Hold On" super-intergalactic cosmic overdrive high dose...but am working my way up slowly.

I dreamed of someone that did that with a 16g mhrb and 3g rue dose and really went for quite a ride.

I do not have a perfect environment yet for a 100% "let down your defenses" dream like I imagine a good caapi brew experience to be.
Can't take a chance of being totally incapacitated downstairs on the floor or wherever and have a family member find me and possibly
call 911 because they think something is wrong with me. Or having them hear me purging and get alarmed and start hovering and making
me paranoid or interrupting the calm. Right now, I dream "under the radar" while family members are sleeping. lol

You could likely dream while they sleep ( :lol: ?)

...But it would be best to go on a campin' trip or something!

I find a natural outdoors setting really makes for a great trip!

Just have a few friends with you, at least one who will be stayin' sober.
