Other than the fungi, the other main psychoactive european herbs are the dangerous tropane containing solanaceae family such as Atropa belladonna, Mandragora sp etc.  These are best avoided unless you are incredibly experienced and knowledgable, and even then BEST AVOIDED.

There could however be interesting 'european' based ayahuasca analogue plants about that could be worth investigating.

Welcome to SPF !

Poppies can be grown or bought. Many interesting things can be ordered though they may not be european in origen.

Moved to the rain forest since the garden is for edibles not psychoactive plant discussion.

Indeed, are you looking for things to grow or to forage?

There are a lot of plants with more subtle effects, like artemisia vulgaris for dreaming. But besides psilocybe and amanita mushrooms and dangerous solanaceae, hallucinogens that you can just pick and ingest do not really grow there I think. Maybe indeed some kind of 'Eurohuasca' can be brewn, although I have never read or heard about people doing that.

Since the middle ages, 'witches' in Europe used to and at some places still use to make skin creams from combinations of various plants and amanita mushrooms that really make you trip. But maybe it is better to not experiment with these things without some experienced conduct. Too bad these witches never found out about psilocybe mushrooms growing everywhere lol   :D
