I have some PV berries that have been sitting in the fridge a while. They should still be good. 5 berries are free to any spiritplants member who registered before today who requests them. No charge for postage in the usa. I'm going to send them el cheapo so they may get squashed on the way. Not to worry, the seeds inside are very tough and will not break. The berry itself is of little importance. Each berry has 2 seeds inside.

They take quite a while to sprout, expect to wait a few months. They can take up to a year sometimes but you should get a few sprouts in a month or two. Keep them in damp soil just below the surface. They don't need a lot of bright light but keep plastic wrap over the pot until they come up to keep the soil damp. You will have to water the soil every month or so.

For those wondering what "pv berries" are, that stands for psychotria viridis. It's a south american plant with dmt in the leaves. It's quite legal to own and grow, just don't extract or make a tea with certain other herbs like syrian rue to have a trip. We don't condone anything illegal.

PV likes warm temps and high humidity. It will do fine in average humidity. If you live in the desert you may need to spray them with water now and then. It will not take temps below freezing. PV likes the shade, it does not do as well in full sun but it can take some sun. It makes a very nice house plant. Each leaf can make a few new plants though it takes a while. Happy growing!

Anyone else? I have a few more but the offer will not last forever. Those who got theirs, do not worry about the fact it looked more like tomato paste than red berries curtesy of the post office's gentle handling. The lumps in the paste are the seeds. Now comes patience waiting for them to sprout.

It would be nice posting here but if you are shy, just send a pm.

Quote from: "kundalini"psychotria is the female energy , the vvater elemental spirit . the queen .

I've never perceived plants to be either male or female in particular, but this is how the plant is perceived in the Santo Daime tradition, where caapi is seen as a masculine energy, psychotira as the female, as the daime as balanced union of the two.

My psychotria are flowering right now. I've had berries in the past, but have never sprouted them. The plant is relatively easy to leaf-clone, but as with the berries you have to wait a long time to see progress.
