in October I tore my thumb off, I've been told it's healing nicely by the established professionals.

I'm not quite sure that I'm truly healing myself over the occurence or just convincing myself I am. I've always generally been more the healer then the healed.

I'm rather eager for my next session, although this one I am thinking I may need to do alone, but even that has me worried.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with a self healing session or even any healing session in general that may help with this. I've been apprehensive about conveening with my plants due to what they may tell me, now that things have changed a tad, they've always been positive before, and very telling.

Thoughts?

Sounds reasonable enough to me.

Not sure what has changed, unless its your carb thumb you lost.... In that case, you should use the other hand.

So, what's changed since the accident? Or maybe, how has the accident changed you?

welcome to spr, btw.

Lost my boots in transit, babe,
smokin\' pile of leather.
Nailed a retread to my feet
and prayed for better weather...

Yes it is the carb hand .... and wellusing my other hand makes it extermely difficult to use a lighter/match ;)

What's changed .... just about everything, outlook, abilities, hobbies, you name it, it's all pretty much different.

Friend of mine lost the tips of all the fingers on his left hand. Actually more than the tips(frostbite).

Sad part is that he has always wanted nothing more in life than to play the guitar. He really wants to be a pro muso. The problem was he was a man of modest talent on a scene replete with great guitar players.

Well it took him awhile, but he finally got on the bandstand at the blues jam. And he got up there and played his ass off. What he lost in dexterity is made up for by the determination in his soul. He was really like a man possessed.

I'm not gonna say now he's gonna be a star or anything like that, this is real life. But his suffering has transformed him on a deep level. It's a beautiful thing.
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling
