By now you might need to know that I spend quite a bit of my time in the SPF chat room. I was hanging there yesterday and one youngster started spewing some seriously offensive racist bullshit, in the guise of a history lesson. Now I am quite comfortable with my ethnic heritage, and have a sense of humor. But this was beyond the pale.

Now this was bad enough, but then for the most part I had to beg my brothers to jump in and put this asshole in his place, except for one or two guys(thanks Deph).

Maybe this proves that LSA causes brain damage. Certainly it proves that it doesn't increase intelligence.

Bummer to hear of such....  Now, isn't it odd that this place in cyberville has been the recipient of such garbage both on the boards and on chat in the recent days??  Methinks someone may well be attempting to pollute the place for no other purpose than spite......  It wouldn't take an genius to surmise that racism/homophobia/mysogyny and the like won't fly very far with entho enthusiasts as a general rule..........  senorsal

Well, i think it's a pretty generally held assumption that in some cases, particularly in cases with family history of mental dissorders, entheogens can potentially brings latent (not neccisarily possative) traits to the forefront.  

Think of the instant asshole metaphore.  ......... just add alchohol.  

Ahhh yes, the reptilian brain, tucked all nice and secure back there all by it's lonesome........

that surprises me... it's a shame that the forum has only been up for a matter of weeks and we're already getting inundated with moronic behaviour... sometimes I manage to build faith in humanity... and other times, like now, that faith fades to near-nothing...

I guess I just have to accept that some people find pleasure in angering and hurting others... it's unfortunate... but I suppose it's something that has to be accepted... of course... it doesn't have to be accepted BEHAVIOUR... just accepted as a fact

I wasn't in chat that day but i am on the trail of whoever this was.  We tolerate some moody individuals at times and often will talk racists down instead of booting them out.  What were the operators doing at the time JRL?

But I was in chat that day, and JRL is right. The young man crossed some lines and at points sounded utterly nazi-like.
The thing that caught my attention most though, is that the same young man has ops power in chat !???
Why???

He shouldn't have.
So i understand your erieness JRL, I think all of us in there that day understands that... maybe except gor a certain young man.
