That was a pretty good band. Other fairly good guitar players he's had include Mr. Scofield, Mr Kimock and the one and only Robben Ford.

I'm sitting here goin Jackie Greene, Warren Haynes, Jackie Greene, Warren Haynes...... hmmmm what's wrong with this picture
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling

I dug the sets

Jimmy Herring was prolly my fav d trucks spent sitting in with Phil in Denver.

J Herring was prolly my fave, but not when playing with Warren, as Jimmy kinda got stepped on in that configuration, imo.

Larry campbell can play.

Imo, jackie and larry or jackie and warren or jackie and herring would all work out fine if'n phil would allow da pros to lead da man-chile and not da other way around.

Barry Sleiss (sp?) has cut me to shreds a few times....

Sorry for the delay! LOL!

The show was great - we had a blast. The delay was that I started a new job on Thursday, so its been hectic as all hell. More on that some other time.

We hauled ass up to Baltimore, and got there just in time (after having to park about 8 blocks away due to lack of parking  ). But, we also needed to hit the can, so by the time we got to our seats they were already halfway through Playing in the Band.

The first set seemed somewhat... restrained? But still nice, but the second set kicked ass!!! I know its been said, but Jackie, as talented a musician and singer as he is, appears to be a 14 year old up on stage...

The highlight for me was the Cumberland Blues > Eyes > Brokedown. I don't think there was a dry eye in the place - I know mine weren't...

It was also Bobby's 60th birthday, which Phil did mention.
