how to subscribe and unsubscribe yourself and so forth

for those of you who want to get on or off the spf radio mailing list bus, the next post contains the instructions. if you like reading techy instructions, email mailto:majordomo@spfradio.yage.net">majordomo@spfradio.yage.net with no subject and the message 'help' in the main content part and it will send you the manual. if you are satisfied to just know the basics, here they are (in the next post)

to list the mailing lists on the server:

send a message with no subject to Majordomo@spfradio.yage.net serves the following lists:

  spfradio                SPF Radio list.

Use the 'info <list>' command to get more information
about a specific list.

to subscribe:

send a message with no subject to majordomo@spfradio.yage.net and it will respond (after a minute or two) to tell you that you are subscribed.

Now, if you want to unsubscribe, you do it thusly:

send a message to mailto:majordomo@spfradio.yage.net">majordomo@spfradio.yage.net

containing no subject and 'unsubscribe spfradio' in the contents

it will respond with a message confirming this, and you will be liberated from the list postings.
