My plant grows larger and larger. It flowers constantly but no seeds have formed. I think it may need another plant just as I suspected. I could take cuttings but I think it will be hard to root them while it's flowering. I may wait until later in the year.

Stoney, thanks for the updates on your L. i.  

I've got both seeds and foliage coming (though apparently that's something of a crap shoot).    If I have any success, I'll let you know:  next spring we might be able to do some swapping for genetic diversity purposes...

Did it die after flowering or from some other problem?

Does anyone else have one flowering?

One of my plants is flowering and I was hoping to trade pollen.

It looks like I didn't water it often enough and it dried up. It lived a while longer after that and even grew new shoots from the base but finally died.
