Well I'm no chemist, I don't even pretend to be one on the Internet:

But again I consulted DIKAL and the other references I have aquirred in my 30 years of dragibus research.

Seems Shulgin wanted to try the very synthesis you are proposeing, but Hoffman talked him out of it. Seems there are 3 possible outcomes with equal chances:

1. You end up with a lump of an inert material much like silly putty
2. You end up with a drug with activity in the nanogram range
3. You end up with material so unstable that at best you would have an explosion that would make Krakatoa look like a party popper and at worst you would rip the fabric of time and turn the universe inside out.

So I say go for it!!

Relax, troutie. There ain't no such thing as da dragibus. Remember?

Anyway, I've always liked the story about the japanese dragibus den run by one of the local, old-school tattoo artists. Seems the dude got hooked on the dragibus while touring Europe and then he started turning on his tattoo clients when he got back. Anyway, the scene evolved to what it is today, or at least the last I'd heard... The artist, Nishiama, gives free tattoos to anyone willing/able to sit through the process while under a full head of the dragibus. And his work is fantastic. Now, old dude ain't no fool, so he's learned some things over the years. First time visitors attempting the feat are forced to get their first tat on the face. Nothing large or obtrusive, but enough to find out if the person in the chair is going to be capable of seeing the process through to the end. He apparently got tired of people flaking out of the chair right off the bat. So now peeps think a little longer and harder, maybe, before trying to conquer the unsane. The guy's work is amazing, btw. His art is just dragibus dream soaked. And Nishiama is selling dragibus out of the back of the shop so I'm guessing any lost tattooing profits are surely made up by his repeat customers. I think my favorite quote of his was something like, "A man's skin is of a finite volume while his soul has an infinite capacity for love, including the love of pain."

Can you imagine what getting a tattoo while on da 'bus must feel like?

There is an urban legend that Nishaima's tats have been known to move and switch places.

No shite!

I like the one about the guy who smoked the dragibus and then watched Nishiama lay out intricate designs on both palms. THe guy said it hurt so bad he was sweating blood. He thought his hands were going to explode. Then he figured it would get better after he passed out, but that wasn't the case, as you can imagine. Anyway, when all was said and done, an assistant of Nishiama wrapped dude's bloody hands in gauze before sending him on his way. The guy was afraid to take public transit home, in that state, so he walked the ten miles home. In the morning, he awoke and gingerly unwrapped his first one hand and then the other - to find no sign of a tattoo on either. No dried blood, nothing. He said he felt cheated at first for enduring the pain and terror of dragibus for nothing but a craving for more. And it took the guy a few weeks to notice the intricate designs on the soles of his feet.....

Consuming a couple glasses of grapefruit juice prior to ingestion (oral, smoked, rectal ... also presumably IM or IV with purified extracts) of your Bus will dramatically increase effects as well as duration.  Treat with care as I've come across some people who've reported pronounced tachycardia, tremors and numbness of the extremities (not an increase in the standard buzzing pleasurable numbness, but rather a feeling like when your foot goes to sleep but up the entire leg or arm) when trying this with their standard dose of dragibus.  Be careful, this mix had me lost to the world for months before friends and family were able to drag me from the bus.

LOL We've been innoculating grapefruit with dragibus cultures for awhile now. We give them a couple of weeks to do their thing and then cut and eat them under a black light.

I think we need to start looking for indigenous dragibus cults. We could just go back from the earliest reference and see what we can find. My intuition is that our secret is not so new. The dragon might be the original sacrament, might predate amanitas. When we find the time that it went underground, disappeared from the record we might be on the trail to a whole secret world. As far as I know no one nows how dragibus was reintroduced, but it  was just there in the 60's. as a matter of fact I have no memory of my first time or when I first heard about it, it's like it was always there. Know what I mean?

Was soma dragibus??

Feels like the dragon is getting ready to roar again.

I met a maori elder (indigenous peoples of new zealand) the other eve, he spun me a tale, he made mention of the ancient use of a plant, that summoned the taniwha ( a dragon like beast of maori folklore), he decribed how the dragons of the earth awoke and swollowed the land in a torrent of splendor, filling the minds of the users with the knowledge of the gods, gaurded and gifted to man by the taniwhas.. he went on to explain how its cermonial use had been quelled by the early european settlers and regarded as the act of savages.. but still to this day a small cult remained, dedicated to the call of the taniwha.. of course my curiosity peaked and i began to probe his mind for more information..he grew weary and looked at me slyly and asked "you speak as if you have soared the skies and dived the seas on the back of the taniwha"... i looked back at him and said " i soared in heaven and crashed in hell, only to discover i never left this plane".. he seemed satisfied with my answer and asked if i wanted to learn more of the ancient practice.. i agreed and we ventured to the edge of a patch of native bush, he gave me a small pouch made of a leaf ad told me to put it in my mouth and chew, i quidded it and began to feel that tell tale sensory heightening, the vibrations up my spine as my world disolved and regrew in a vibrant world of heaven and hell, the bush was writhing with taniwha, i looked to the old man who at that moment turned into a grand taniwha, pulsating vibrant colours, be turned to me and said, " follow me to learn from the gods", the rest is a blur, but i awoke in a small clearing, dragibus growing all around me..the forest whisped to me as i walked out, filled with divine knowledge..

one of the most amazing nights of my life, the path is there, we need just follow and learn..

why cant we live like tribes?"
