As far as I know, no one has ever sucessfully done it.

If you're interested, I'd start with a standard protocol.

This  site is a good place to start for home experimenters. But I'd add a little hydrogen peroxide to the mix to keep down contamination (it's widely used in the Orchid industry, I believe).
